The Texas Rangers scored zero runs but the Toronto Blue Jays scored two runs.
Josh Smith smacked a single to lead off the game for Texas and then the Rangers went the next 27 outs without another hit. They never scored and lost.
One thing that really stinks about how things have been going for the Rangers is it completely saps the enjoyment for what has been one of the rare, great runs of pitching that the franchise has ever seen.
Pitching this well just doesn’t happen that often for the Texas Rangers, and the lineup has somehow made the whole experience about as fun as leaving your grandparent’s funeral to go to a dentist’s appointment.
