The Texas Rangers scored four runs while the Colorado Rockies scored one run.
Kind of a weird one tonight. That’s 2025 Rangers baseball, baby!
The Rockies had two of their five hits in the first inning and scored a run off of Jack Leiter. Texas followed that up with three hits immediately off of Colorado starter Kyle Freeland with the third hit being a three-run home run off the bat of Josh Jung.
From there? Each starter went six innings and neither team scored or really much threatened to score until Jung again went deep in the bottom of the eighth for some glad-to-have-it insurance.
