2019 MLB All-Star Game: Joey Gallo is an All-Star. Hunter Pence is one, too. Mike Minor will also there repping the Rangers. Heck, Lance Lynn was probably snubbed for a trip to Cleveland. In the end, however, with Pence on the shelf and the Rangers opting to give Minor rest, only Gallo will be eligible to perform in tonight’s game but he will be doing so coming off the bench.
Here’s hoping this one remains a tight game until the late innings so Gallo can come in and do some damage and earn a free truck or whatever as the game’s MVP.
