Two members of that godawful 2014 Texas Rangers team that we have all tried to forget are going to be part of the coaching staff for the two Oakland A’s AZL Rookie League teams in 2020.
Adam Rosales, the 36 year old long-time utility infielder who split the 2019 season between the Indians and the Twins AAA teams, will be part of the coaching staff for, it appears, both of the A’s rookie league teams. You may recall that the Rangers claimed Rosales off of waivers from the A’s in August, 2013, only for the A’s to claim him back off of waivers less than a week later, with the Rangers re-claiming him four days after that.
