18-32 — Lyles is great, bats aren’t in 2-1 loss

The Rangers scored just one run for the second night in a row, and it was almost enough. Jordan Lyles was excellent save for a second inning two run home run allowed to Kyle Tucker, but that home run was the difference in the game.

The player of the game is Lyles, who had his best start as a Ranger, allowing just three hits and a walk in 7 innings.

Texas will face off against the Angels in Anaheim tomorrow night.
