18-22 - Four losses in a row as Rangers are harangued in Houston 10-4

The Texas Rangers scored four runs and the Houston Astros scored ten runs.

After Wes Benjamin won the rotation spot vacated by an injured Kohei Arihara, the lefty couldn’t make it out of the second inning tonight in Houston as he allowed three runs before collecting a sixth out.

But then Brett de Geus allowed four runs in a third of an inning. And then starting candidate Hyeon-Jong Yang allowed three more runs in his four innings of worth. The trio of pitchers allowed a season-high tying eight free passes, as well. Taylor Hearn had to come in for a couple of scoreless innings to stop the bleeding.
