The Texas Rangers scored eight runs while the Seattle Mariners scored one run.
There haven’t been many normal winning-baseball type baseball games for the Rangers this season. Most of their wins have been low-scoring efforts with a scant margin of victory. Even their most recent win during this slide was a flukish 15-2 drubbing of the Athletics last Tuesday.
Perhaps Jacob deGrom is now the good luck charm for the lineup as he was the pitcher on the mound for the 15-run game and now he enjoyed the fruits of the eight-run outburst today.
