The Texas Rangers scored three runs but the Seattle Mariners scored four runs.
The Rangers held the Mariners to nine runs scored in this series but five of those came in the first inning with at least a run scored in each of the three games. Putting themselves on the back foot in every game eventually led to Texas buckling in the finale as they just couldn’t come through with the hit that finished off a rally to put them ahead despite a lot of hard hit balls on the day.
The Rangers are hitting a lot of balls hard today, but not much to show for it.
