10-10 - Bad baseball comes back to bite Rangers in 10-6 series finale loss

So you know all of that sloppy baseball the Rangers have been running out there so far this season? Well, it finally caught up with them today.

Texas was defensively a mess, the bats didn’t contribute much until it was too late, and the real difference here was they didn’t have a starter on the mound limiting the damage like Lance Lynn and Kyle Gibson were able to accomplish in the previous games in this series.

Instead, despite striking out the side in order in the first inning, today’s starter Kolby Allard got sucked into the Rangers’ vortex of messiness and couldn’t work his way out of it.
