After all of the wait, the hype, and the performative politics, we finally had our Opening Day at The Shed with the fans in the stands and they were treated to...well, probably a very usual 2021 Texas Rangers baseball game.
I don’t have much to even say about it. The Toronto Blue Jays pretty much ambushed Mike Foltynewicz early in his Rangers debut — scoring once in the first inning and thrice in the second — and the Texas bats never woke up, with the team’s first extra base hit coming with two outs in the final frame.
