TYLER, Texas – Texas Football junior wide receiver Xavier Worthy and sophomore quarterback Quinn Ewers were named to the Earl Campbell Tyler Rose Award preseason watch list, the organization announced on Thursday. Both Worthy and Ewers were named to the preseason watch list for the first time in their careers.
The award, which is named after 1977 Heisman Trophy winner and Longhorn Legend Earl Campbell, is given annually to the top offensive player in the FBS who also exhibits the enduring characteristics that define Campbell – integrity, performance, teamwork, sportsmanship, drive, community and tenacity.
