AUSTIN, Texas — The University of Texas women's tennis team has earned the No. 2 national seed in the 2021 NCAA Championship, the NCAA announced Monday evening. The Longhorns (25-1) will host NCAA First and Second Round matches on Friday, May 7 and Saturday, May 8 at the Texas Tennis Center.
Texas, the Big 12 Conference regular-season and tournament champion, will face Denver (14-3) in the NCAA First Round at 3 p.m. Central on Friday, May 7. No. 33 Arizona State (14-8) will meet No. 38 Mississippi State (11-12) in the other first-round match at 12 p.
