AUSTIN, Texas — The University of Texas Tower will be drenched in Burnt Orange lighting later tonight (Sunday, April 11) to commemorate the UT Women's Swimming and Diving program's recent Big 12 Conference championship.
Per campus tradition, the UT Tower is bathed in Burnt Orange lighting from top-to-bottom when a University of Texas athletics team wins a conference championship.
The Longhorns claimed their ninth-consecutive Big 12 Conference crown in early March and have now recorded 19 Big 12 team titles and a total of 33 overall conference championships (14 Southwest Conference, 19 Big 12 Conference) in program history.
