AUSTIN, Texas – The Texas women kept the track hot setting collegiate records on the third day of the 95th Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays presented by Truist.
The women of Julien Alfred, Rhasidat Adeleke, Kennedy Simon and Valery Tobias shattered the collegiate record in the sprint medley relay by over two seconds with a time of 3:36.10, breaking Texas A&M's previous time of 3:38.93 set here at the Texas Relays last season. Alfred split 22.4 in the opening 200-meter leg, followed by Adeleke's 21.7 split on the second 200-meter before Simon split an impressive 49.
