AUSTIN, Texas – Four divers from the University of Texas advanced to the national championships next week on 1-meter with their performances on Tuesday night at the Zone "D" diving meet held at the Lee and Joe Jamail Texas Swimming Center. Alison Gibson, Meghan O'Brien and Sofia Rauzi were able to secure their spots with top-nine finishes.
Gibson cracked the top-three with 636.40 total points with a finals round average of almost 53 points. As a freshman at the 2017 NCAA Championships, Gibson became the first UT diving champion in 10 years with her title on 1-meter.
