PORTLAND, Ore. — The No. 1 seed Texas women's basketball team held Gonzaga to 18 first half points and 33 points under their season scoring average in a 69-47 victory in the Sweet 16 matchup on Friday at Moda Center.
Aaliyah Moore posted a double-double with 16 points and 10 rebounds and added a career-high six assists. Shaylee Gonzales scored 15 points and Shay Holle added 12 points.
The Longhorns (33-4) used a 10-0 run to go up 14-7 in the first quarter on a 3-pointer from Shay Holle.
