AUSTIN, Texas — The Texas women's basketball team will compete in the 2023 Jimmy V Women's Classic and host UConn on Sunday, Dec. 3 at 2:00 p.m. CT at Moody Center. This will be the second year the Jimmy V Women's Classic will be broadcast on ABC.
The Longhorns and Huskies previously played in the Jimmy V Women's Classic in 2016 at Mohegan Sun Arena.
The Jimmy V Classic, named for legendary college basketball coach Jim Valvano – who was inducted in the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in August, annually raises money and awareness for the V Foundation for Cancer Research.
