AUSTIN, Texas – Charli Collier scored 17 points but Texas shot only 27 percent from the floor, as the Longhorns dropped a 69-51 Big 12 Conference game to Iowa State on Wednesday night at the Frank Erwin Center.
Collier also hauled down 11 rebounds to achieve her 12th double-double of the season for the Longhorns (15-9, 7-4). Iowa State (15-8, 7-5) was led by Ashley Jones and Kristin Scott, who scored 23 and 20 respectively.
Iowa State shot 46 percent from the floor to take a 15-12 lead by the end of the first quarter.
