Jordan Windle set an NCAA record in the platform diving competition Saturday at the Big 12 Championships.
AUSTIN, Texas – Texas freshman Jordan Windle shattered the NCAA record in the men's platform diving event to put an exclamation point on the Horns' 39th consecutive conference title Saturday night at the Big 12 Championships.
Windle, a Cambodian-born two-time World Championships qualifier for Team USA, netted 579.60 points through the six-round men's platform final and eclipsed the previous NCAA record of 560 points held by former Duke diver Nick McCrory.
Windle garnered multiple perfect 10 scores on four of his six dives in Saturday's final.
