Sam Ehlinger has been quiet since suffering a concussion against Oklahoma State in October. The freshman quarterback missed the team's next two games before playing limited snaps in last week's win over Kansas.

Head coach Tom Herman finally unleashed his young quarterback against West Virginia. And Ehlinger didn't disappoint.

Leading the Mountaineers 7-0 in the second quarter, Ehlinger made a variety of big plays on a 10-play, 87-yard Texas scoring drive. The first came on a third and nine, where Ehlinger escaped the pass rush and ran for a first down.
