The fourth interception of the game for the Texas Longhorns defense gave the Horns a chance to knock out the West Virginia Mountaineers with a 28-17 lead in Morgantown. With freshman running back Roschon Johnson running well, it looked like he would have to chance to finish the Mountaineers.

Head coach Tom Herman and offensive coordinator Tim Beck dialed up a trick play, as junior quarterback Sam Ehlinger threw a lateral to sophomore left tackle Sam Cosmi, who rumbled into the end zone for the rare touchdown catch for an offensive lineman.
