NEW ORLEANS -- It was supposed to be just a cordial meeting between two famed mascots.
But as soon as Uga X, Georgia's legendary bulldog mascot, hopped out of his cage near Bevo XV, Texas' legendary, 1,100-pound steer, on the sidelines Tuesday night before the start of the Allstate Sugar Bowl, tensions boiled over.
Bevo charged immediately out of his makeshift pin right after Uga, with dozens of media, personnel and bystanders in the way. Multiple people were nearly trampled. Watch below:
