Vince Young’s football fire is still burning, which is appropriate if he plans to handle the cold weather in Canada.
VY is reportedly talking to the Saskatchewan Roughriders of the CFL for a try-out. The Houston Chronicle reports that his agent, Leigh Steinberg, is discussing the chances of Young winning the QB job.
The Montreal Allouettes previously held Young’s CFL rights. But, that expired in 2015 and the Roughriders picked up his rights on January 30, reports the Chronicle.
Interestingly, the Roughriders and Alouettes are scheduled to kick off the CFL regular season on June 22.
