AUSTIN, Texas — Texas women's basketball head coach Vic Schaefer will once again pledge $10,000 if 10,000 fans show up for the Longhorns regular season home finale vs. BYU on Saturday, March 2 at 7:00 p.m. CT.
Money raised will go to the Neighborhood Longhorns Program. $155,000 was raised in the Longhorns 10K for 10K game last season and $135,000 the year before.
The Neighborhood Longhorns Program is the premier educational outreach program for the University of Texas at Austin offering economically disadvantaged 2nd through 8th graders the opportunity to envision attending college through incentives and scholarships.
