After a 4-0 start that included upsetting the Purdue Boilermakers on the road, the Texas Longhorns make their first appearance of the season in the AP Top 25, coming in at No.22.
To make this more remarkable, Texas did not receive a single vote in the preseason Top 25 and only appeared in the rankings in one week of the 2018-2019 season.
The Longhorns now head to New York City to take on the Georgetown Hoyas in Madison Square Garden as part of the 2K Empire Classic.
