Two Texas commits show off promising talent in high school all star games

The Longhorns have just 13 commits signed to their 2017 recruiting class.

But that doesn't mean the incoming class lacks talent. Both four-star running back Toneil Carter and three-star lineman Derek Kerstetter showed off big-time potential at their respective all-star games over the past few weeks.

Carter, who played for Langham Creek, shined at the Under Armour All America Game on Jan. 1 with 84 total yards and a touchdown. The 5–11 back showed off a versatile skill set highlighted by a 36-yard grab.

Carter had a big career at Langham Creek, where he racked up over 1,000 yards in three straight seasons.
