Twenty-eight Longhorns to participate in Tokyo Olympic Games

AUSTIN, Texas — Twenty-six current or former University of Texas student-athletes have earned spots on their home countries' Olympic teams, and two coaches with ties to UT Athletics also will participate in the upcoming Olympic Games. All told, UT athletes and coaches will represent 11 different Longhorns programs (men's basketball, women's basketball, men's golf, women's rowing, women's soccer, softball, men's swimming & diving, women's swimming & diving, men's track and field, women's track and field and women's volleyball) and represent 11 different countries (Bahamas, Barbados, Canada, Colombia, Germany, Jamaica, Netherlands, Philippines, Singapore, United States and Venezuela).
