IRVING, Texas — A trio of University of Texas Men's Basketball players have earned spots on the 2020 Academic All-Big 12 Men's Basketball Team, the league office announced Thursday. Sophomore forward Kamaka Hepa, who was nominated with a 4.0 GPA, was named to the First Team, while junior guard Matt Coleman III and redshirt freshman Brock Cunningham were selected to the Second Team.
Coleman earned his second career selection to the academic all-league team, as he also earned second-team mention last year. Hepa and Cunningham claimed their first career selections to the squad.
