Track & Field sets two school records on day one of Big 12 Indoors

LUBBOCK, Texas - After day one of the 2019 Big 12 Indoor Championships, The University of Texas Track & Field program sits in good shape to accomplish its goals on Saturday. The highlight of the day was senior Ashtin Zamzow winning her second consecutive conference title in the indoor pentathlon, setting the school record in the process with 4,183 points. Elena Bruckner also shattered the school record in the weight throw (19.60m/64-2.75) to finish second.
