AUSTIN, Texas – The Texas Track and Field program opened the first week of United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) rankings at No. 1 on the men's side and No. 2 on the women's side.
Texas' men have posted eight marks in the top-10 nationally in their respective events, including three in the 800m alone sparked by Crayton Carrozza at No. 3 (1:48.40), Yusuf Bizimana at No. 5 (1:48.75) and Cole Lindhorst at No. 7 (1:48.86). The men also have the top-ranked DMR in the NCAA posted by Lindhorst, Willington Wright, Bizimana and Carrozza at 9:37.
