Tom Herman addresses the media before the Red River Showdown

It may not have been pretty, but a win is a win, and the Texas Longhorns managed to beat the Kansas State Wildcats on the road for the first time in 16 years. They’re rewarded now by taking on the No. 7 Oklahoma Sooners and their high-octane offense.

The Sooners are helmed by Heisman Trophy candidate Kyler Murray, who is yet another talented dual-threat quarterback wearing Crimson. Murray sits No. 2 in the country in passing efficiency, and No. 5 in the country in total offense.

Texas will have to find a way to slow down that potent offense, if it wants to reverse its recent fortunes in the rivalry.
