Here are three takeaways from Texas' 76-67 loss against No. 3 Kansas:
1. Longhorns fall short. Texas went into Lawrence, Kansas looking to pull off a rare feat against the Jayhawks. Kansas had only lost nine games in Lawrence, Kansas under head coach Bill Self entering Saturday's matchup with the Longhorns. Texas looked to add to that loss total but it couldn't pull off the upset against the Jayhawks. The Longhorns built up a 19-7 lead in the first half and was shooting 51.9 percent from the field. Kansas, however, fought back and eventually tied the game, but the Longhorns took a five point lead into the half.
