Here are three quick takeaways from Texas' 71-54 win against TCU:
1. Texas starts hot. The Longhorns offense began the game much like it did against Kansas on Saturday. Texas, however, did all of its work against TCU from inside the three point arc in the first half as it didn't hit a three point shot in the opening half. But the Longhorns weren't hindered by their troubles from three-point land. Texas shot 46.4 percent in the first half against the Horned Frogs. The Longhorns saw the same offensive production in the second half.
