ARLINGTON -- How do you say no to the NFL? Texas wide receiver Collin Johnson had three reasons.
The first is something he was reminded of by attending Big 12 Media Day on Tuesday at AT&T Stadium. The last time he was here his team lost the Big 12 Championship. Watching Oklahoma celebrate is something Johnson still remembers vividly. It stung, but motivated him.
"I promised myself I would do everything I can in my power to win a championship," Johnson said. "Staying enabled me to have one more shot at this thing."
Two, he wanted to finish his physical culture and sport degree.
