The Texas Longhorns drew a tough matchup in the Alamo Bowl, taking on the No. 11 Utah Utes, coming off of a disappointing showing in the Pac-12 Championship game against the Oregon Ducks. Texas hopes a good performance against Tyler Huntley and the Utah offense, while Sam Ehlinger needs another good performance to close out the season.
On the hardwood, Texas took care of business against rival Texas A&M Aggies to improve to 8-1, but remains unranked with three non-conference games left.
