The Texas Longhorns baseball team came out hot against the Rice Owls, securing their first season-opening sweep since the 2009 season. Both the young bats and experienced arms were alive over the weekend as the Longhorns took care of business against against the Owls.
On the gridiron, notable players will be moving positions for the spring, as Jordan Whittington moves to receiver, Malcolm Epps moves inside to tight end, with perhaps the biggest move coming on defense as safety DeMarvion Overshown moves down to linebacker.
