The Longhorn Republic breaks down a win over Oklahoma and quarterback transfers

After losing three-straight, the Texas Longhorns came out, built an early lead and were able to hold off a late comeback attempt from the Oklahoma Sooners to bring their conference record to 3-3. For the first time this season it appeared as if Kerwin Roach II and Dylan Osetkowski were able to set the tone for the game they want (2:46).

It was also wild on campus, as news broke of all three of Texas’s backup quarterbacks were reportedly shopping around. When the dust all settled, Cameron Rising was headed to Utah and Thompson was no longer in the portal (10:06).
