For the second time in four years, the Texas Longhorns men’s basketball program will participate in a neutral-site doubleheader at the Toyota Center in Houston. On Wednesday, Texas was among the announced participants for the Battleground 2k20 Showcase.
The state’s top in-state rivals are set to square off against two mid-major programs on Friday, Dec. 18. Texas will face Louisiana Tech while Texas A&M plays Boise State.
Louisiana Tech is coming off a 22-8 season plus they return the core of their roster, which features four upperclassmen that started at least 10 games last season.
