The national championship trophy is coming to the Lone Star State one way or another — the Texas Longhorns and the Texas Tech Red Raiders are facing off in the Women’s College World Series finals with the best-of-three series starting on Thursday.
The matchup pits some familiar foes as Red Raiders star pitcher NiJaree Canady faces off against Longhorns star pitcher Teagan Kavan, who has gotten the best of Canady three times in the last two seasons.
