Head coach Tom Herman said during the week that both Shane Buechele and Sam Ehlinger will see the majority of the playing time Saturday.
Buechele, who has the benefit of playing his entire freshman season last year, is the leader in the clubhouse to take the 2017 starting QB role. But, freshman Ehlinger has the benefit of a new coaching staff looking at everyone with a fresh set of eyes.
So, who wins out?
The decision will not be made until after the summer, according to Tom Herman. But, Texas fans might be ready to make up their mind after the Texas Spring Game on Saturday.
