The stakes in a critical stretch in recruiting for the Texas Longhorns just got higher, as Loganville (Ga.) Grayson safety Kenyatta Watson II will announce his decision on May 1 in an appearance on Atlanta’s Fox 5 News, according to 247Sports.
Three teammates will join him — defensive end Kevin Harris, linebacker Owen Pappoe, and offensive tackle Wanya Morris. Pappoe, a consensus five-star prospect and the nation’s top outside linebacker, is a Texas target who will take an official visit to Austin, but isn’t considered likely to pick the Horns.
The key target here is Watson.
