Texas recruiting has been hotter than ever, officially flipping three commits from the Big Ten and ACC since November 13th. This time, they were able to flip Kaden Scherer, an in-state 3-star offensive lineman from Stanford.
The Longhorns managed to flip both TE Charlie Jilek and RB Jett Walker (Scherer's high school teammate at Georgetown HS) from Minnesota recently, and it goes without saying that Walker had a big hand in convincing Scherer to decommit from the Gophers and commit to Texas.
Scherer is a 6'5.5", 285-pound blocker who also had offers from the likes of Texas Tech, Kansas State, and Houston.
