Sam Ehlinger’s name is now listed on yet another preseason watch list.
On Thursday morning, the 2020 Manning Award watch list was announced and the Texas Longhorns senior quarterback was among the more notable names listed.
Others included Clemson’s Trevor Lawrence, Notre Dame’s Ian Book, Texas A&M’s Kelen Mond, Baylor’s Charlie Brewer, and former Texas quarterback Shane Buechele, who is now at SMU.
In addition to his preseason recognition on the Manning Award watch list, Ehlinger has also been announced to preseason watch lists for the Maxwell Award, the Davey O’Brien Award, and the Wuerffel Trophy, and was picked as a Preseason First-Team All-Big 12 selection.
