For a second straight season, Texas Longhorns punter Michael Dickson was named as a finalist for the Ray Guy Award, which is given to the nation’s best punter.
Utah’s Mitch Wishnowsky and Alabama’s JK Scott are the two other finalists to win the ward, which will be presented on December 7 in Atlanta at The Home Depot College Football Awards ceremony.
This season, Dickson leads the nation with a punting average of more than 48 yards per attempt, and also sits on the top spot nationally by averaging 44.2 net yards per punt.
