Texas opens as slight underdog against LSU

With the No. 7 Texas Longhorns turning in a two-touchdown win on the road and the No. 14 LSU Tigers losing big at home to the Alabama Crimson Tide, the Tigers open as a 3.5-point favorite at home, according to FanDuel.

The six-day selection is set for a 6:30 p.m. Central kickoff on ABC.

LSU looked like an offensive juggernaut through its first eight games and stayed competitive in both losses, before Kalen DeBoer’s Alabama visited Tiger Stadium. The Tigers took a 13-10 lead late in the third quarter and looked in control; however, the Crimson Tide drove down the field in just five plays to take the lead.
