Sophomore offensive lineman Jean Delance has been granted his release from Texas and will seek a “fresh start at another school.”
Delance made the announcement Tuesday night via Twitter.
“I have decided, with my family, to transfer and move on from The University of Texas,” Delance said. “I’ve been praying over this decision and am thankful for all Coach Herman and this staff have done for me as a player and man. With that being said, I have ultimately decided transferring is the best decision for me to pursue a fresh start at another school. I want to thank all of my teammates for their support and wish the Longhorns nothing but the best in the future.
