Between his courtroom battles and his battles on the recruiting trail, Joe Wickline has had his hands pretty full lately. His unit struggled mightily in 2014, and despite pulling in a decent haul in the 2015 recruiting class, he hasn’t made any waves in recruiting thus far for the 2016 class. With Texas struggling to get in state offensive lineman in the boat, it looks like they have turned their efforts to some out of state options as they offered LSU commit Donavaughn Campbell.
The massive offensive lineman from Ponchatoula reported an offer from Texas this afternoon, and it looks like we can thank Brick Haley for making this offer happen, as he was Campbell’s primary recruiter during his time at LSU.
