Yet again, the Texas Longhorns have thrown their name into the mix with one of the nation’s elite 2020 cornerback prospects.
On Friday, the latest invitation went out to five-star Jacksonville (Fla.) Trinity Christian Academy cornerback Fred Davis II, he announced on Twitter.
With Texas jumping into the mix, Davis’ offer list now features 20 programs from around the country, including Alabama, Miami, Georgia, Florida, Auburn, Ohio State, Oklahoma, and Penn State.
Davis is ranked as the nation’s No. 26 player, the No. 3 cornerback, and the No. 1 overall player in Florida, per the 247Sports.
