The Longhorns have extended an offer to 2022 Saint Louis (MO) John Burroughs School four star defensive end Tyson Ford.
Ford is the 9th ranked weakside defensive end prospect in the country according to 247Sports’ composite rankings and the 115th ranked prospect overall.
The offer from the Longhorns brings Ford’s offer sheet up to 17 and he already holds offers from Arizona State, Michigan, Notre Dame, and Washington.
The Longhorns have cast a wide net early on in the 2022 class, as several of the nation’s best edge rushers already hold offers from the staff.
