After two weeks out of the top 10 in the Anway Coaches Poll, the Texas Longhorns moved up from No. 13 to No. 12 following Saturday’s 36-30 win over the Oklahoma State Cowboys.
The first win over the Cowboys in Austin since 2008 afforded the Longhorns the opportunity to move up, as did several losses by higher-ranked teams. In fact, three teams previously slotted above Texas lost this week — No. 7 Notre Dame, No. 10 Michigan, and No. 11 Utah. Previously ranked No. 14, the Badgers jumped the Horns with the victory over the Wolverines.
